Duplicates found without hunting

When contacts arrive from years of email across multiple accounts, duplicates are inevitable: the same person under a work address, a personal Gmail and a no-reply alias. Trevally monitors for these continuously and surfaces merge suggestions at the top of each contact card, without you having to hunt. Each suggestion offers two options: Review (see the two cards side by side) or Skip, and skipped pairs are remembered, so the same suggestion will not resurface.

Choose exactly what survives

The review screen puts the Main card and the Duplicated card side by side, field by field. You click to choose which values survive (keep the main card's last name, take the duplicate's phone number) and everything else follows automatically: the duplicate's messages, files and organization links transfer to the main card before the duplicate is discarded. One person, one complete card, nothing silently overwritten. If you know two contacts are the same person without waiting for a suggestion, the Merge tab on any contact card lets you search and merge any pair manually.
